The Cadarn Housing Group’s IT team had good cause for celebration last Friday (14 May 2010) when they were awarded the title of IT Team of the Year at the 2010 Housing Heroes Awards ceremony in London.
The 2010 Housing Heroes Awards, run by the Chartered Institute of Housing and Inside Housing, attracted over 300 entries and the winners were announced by adventurer and TV presenter Ben Fogle.
The team’s recognition is the result of the development of Cadarn’s SPriNT software as the leading supported housing monitoring software in Wales. Users range from small support providers to national providers and local authorities. SPriNT is marketed outside Wales with projects delivered in Scotland, England and Ireland. SPriNT is now supplied to over 60 organisations and has 3500 users.
Key achievements for the team and SPriNT over the past year have included:
ͦ 24 sales of SPriNT software and 74 sales of additional modules
ͦ delivery of SPriNT to 21 Women’s Aid agencies throughout Wales
ͦ the development of a Community Care Module in partnership with four care and support agencies from the learning disability sector in Wales
ͦ the development of a digital pen module to enable efficient data entry in a way that is preferred by users
ͦ Monmouthshire County Council achieved Excellence Wales status and were highly commended in the Local Collaboration category for its work with local support agencies using SPriNT to improve information exchange, monitoring and evaluation of support packages
